Delicate and gentle, Daphne is a blooming rose garden at dawn. As the rays of early morning sunlight caress the soft rosebuds and little dew drops collect on the thin petals and leaves, the air is filled with rich notes of the beautiful floral scent.

In Greek mythology Daphne was a Naiad, a variety of nymph associated with fountains, wells, streams and other bodies of freshwater. She was loved by god Apollon who pursued her against her wishes. To escape his advances, she cried out for help and was transformed into a laurel tree which Apollon then adopted as his sacred plant.

A meadow that has just woken up, bathed in early morning light and tiny dewdrops. As soft rays of sunshine illuminate a thin layer of mist that has gathered around the delicate strands of grass, the meadow glistens. Hummingbirds feed on the sweet nectar as a new day begins.

Aea was a Naiad, a nymph of a springs, wells or fountains of a town on the Black Sea. She is also referred to as a huntress who was metamorphosed by the gods into an island to rescue her from the pursuit of a river-god.

A secluded pond in the late afternoon, rich greenery surrounds it and casts delicate shadows. Gorgeous flowers scattered in a rhapsody of colors slowly sway in the gentle breeze. Dragonflies dance as their surroundings slowly invite the evening in a soft embrace.

Galene was a Nereid, a sea nymph and daughter of Nereus, the Old Man of the Sea. She was the goddess of calm seas.

Warm white sand meets with gentle waves that roll into it as the sun slowly sets on the horizon. A myriad of colors seep into each other as the water dances towards the shore. As the wave kisses the sand, the air light foam retreats to its home with each little droplet carrying a rainbow within.

Eione was a Nereid, a sea nymph and one of fifty daughters of Nereus, the Old Man of the Sea. She was a nymph of beach sand.

Like a magical garden full of vibrant blossoms on a warm night, Phoebe pierces through the dark with a rainbow of color. A thick sweetness of rich blossoms engulfs the air as a nearby brook babbles softly and tiny fireflies dance to it’s rhythm.

Phoebe was a Heliad, one of the nymph daughters of the sun-god Helios. When their brother was struck by Zeus, in their grief they were transformed into poplar-trees and their tears into golden amber.
